I mentioned in the post about Open House #1 that there was a house right next door for sale that we loved the look of. Well, they finally had an open house and J and I went to look at it.
When we went to look at the house, it was listed for $219,900, but it has since been lowered to $214,990. The house is 1780 square foot with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms.
This house has really nice curb appeal. I love the white picket fence around the front yard.
When you walk into the house, you're greeted with a nice size entry and a formal dining room.
You walk straight into the large living room with a gas burning fireplace.
The kitchen is large with granite countertops and a gas stove (which I would have no clue how to use). There is so much storage potential in this kitchen. Sadly it did not have a pantry.
Off of the living room is a hallway leading to the master bedroom. To the right is a dedicated laundry room and to the left is a study nook and the back door.
There is a hallway connecting the master bedroom and master bath, with a small walk-in closet between.
The master bedroom is a nice size and would fit all our furniture. It has a nice view out to the backyard.
The master bathroom was large, but is sadly missing a tub. There is a tub in the bathroom on the 2nd floor, so I could always go up there to take a bath. There is a large linen closet to house all of our toiletries and towels.
The first floor also has a small half bath by the stairs for guests to use.
Up on the second floor, there is two bedrooms and a bathroom.
One of the best features of this house is the backyard. It boasts over 400 square foot of deck space, including a hot tub. There is a small backyard, but it's fenced in, so would be perfect for the dog. There is also a detached 2 car garage.
We love this house and definitely would consider putting an offer on it if it dropped below $200,000.
