I've gotten the question a lot about whether Daily Deal sites are actually worth your time.
My answer is a huge...
YES!!!!
You can get your Christmas presents for fantastic prices on daily deal sites and the recipient will never know that you saved a ton of money!
The deals themselves are normally great prices, but there are also tons of ways to get the items on their sites for even cheaper and sometimes free. Some sites require you to refer a certain number of friends and your deal is free. Some will give you credits for each friend that you refer that buys from their site.
